  • Overall, the majority of respondents support the scheme (60% net) but there is a lot of variation between support from businesses, residents and visitors.
  • It is worth noting the effect of the sample sizes here as a far larger number of visitors responded to the survey.
  • Businesses mostly oppose the scheme, there is a fairly equal split in residents’ support/opposition, and visitors mostly support the scheme.
  • This is similar for likelihood of using the scheme. Overall the majority are likely to (61% net), but visitors more so (65% net) compared to residents (51% net).
