Have your say on bus stops in the city - Portsmouth bus stop consultation

We think it is important to listen to bus users in Portsmouth, which means between 14 February and 17 March 2024, we are running a consultation about bus stops in the city, to get your views on how to improve bus stops, shelters and services in Portsmouth.

We have made this survey for all people including people with special educational needs and/or disabilities who use the local buses. We are dedicated to ensuring our buses are as accessible as possible to everybody in our community, ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities for greener travel and to connect with essential services.

Feedback from the consultation will help us to identify bus stops that require improvement, and changes to all bus stops that could make the experience of travelling by bus more comfortable for everyone. Once the consultation is closed, the council will develop plans to improve bus stops later in the year.

This survey is about local public bus services, not the Portsmouth Park and Ride or coaches.

This work is funded by the Portsmouth Bus Service Improvement Plan, and forms part of the councils ongoing commitment to support local bus services and the governments National Bus Strategy.
