Improvement works have taken place along Southsea Terrace to introduce new bus stops.
These changes are part of Portsmouth City Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and aim to make bus stops more accessible for all passengers.
There were previously no bus stops between Clarence Pier and St Jude’s Church for the 18 bus route, which provides an important connection between the Isle of Wight ferry terminal and QA Hospital.
The improvements have now added new stops along Southsea Terrace, giving passengers better access to Southsea Seafront and Castle Road, as well as a more convenient link to hospital services.
