Portsmouth City Council shortlisted for prestigious National Transport Awards

We’re proud to announce that Portsmouth City Council has been shortlisted in two categories at the National Transport Awards 2025.

The National Transport Awards spotlight the commitment, expertise and innovation of those working to continually enhance the transport networks across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Portsmouth Park and Ride: A More Commercial Approach campaign has been shortlisted for Campaign of the Year, recognising efforts to increase ridership, enhance brand awareness and improve overall customer experience of the Park and Ride.

The Portsmouth Buses partnership is recognised for the ongoing partnership work between the council and local bus companies First Bus Solent and Stagecoach South in the Best Alliance/Collaboration of the Year category. This nomination reflects our work to transform bus services in Portsmouth, making them more accessible, convenient and affordable for all.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza in London on 2 October. Find out more about the National Transport Awards on the Transport Times website.
