Getting to and from Victorious Festival by bus

If you’re heading to Victorious Festival this bank holiday weekend, why not leave the car at home and travel by bus?

First Bus will be running additional services after the event to help festival-goers get home, with extra buses operating on routes 2, 3 and X3 when the festival finishes each evening.

Stagecoach has confirmed it will be operating its usual services and will provide additional buses where needed to help manage increased passenger numbers.

If you’re travelling later in the evening, Portsmouth’s 24-hour bus network provides a convenient option. Routes 2 and 23 operate throughout the night, helping people get home safely after enjoying the festival.

The overnight services were introduced through Portsmouth’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), which aims to make bus travel more convenient, reliable and attractive. As well as supporting residents who work or travel outside traditional hours, the routes make it easier for people to enjoy evening events such as Victorious Festival without needing to drive.

Using public transport can help reduce congestion around Southsea seafront and is often the easiest way to travel during major events.
